Two Carnivals that look alike can have different second-row layouts. Confirm the registered seating capacity, the seats available to passengers and the luggage space with every required row in use.

Allow a proper position for each child restraint

Seven or eight seats include the driver. For child restraints, send the child's age, height and seat type so installation positions and rear-row access can be checked. Do not add passengers by sharing seats or dispensing with restraints.

In the Vietnamese line-up, the 2.2D Luxury and Premium use the 8-seat layout, while the Premium 7S, Signature 7S and hybrid versions use 7 seats. Remember that the seat count includes the driver's seat.

The 7-seat Carnival: built for long legs and long days

The two middle chairs are what passengers notice first. Each has its own armrests and recline, so nobody shares an elbow. On upper trims the chairs recline at the touch of a button and add a leg rest, close to a business-class seat. On a run from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat or Phan Thiet, the people in those chairs can genuinely sleep.

The aisle between them matters just as much. Third-row passengers can get in and out without disturbing anyone, which is a big help at rest stops when you have grandparents or small children who need to climb out several times.

        Choose the 7-seat layout if

The 8-seat Carnival: one more passenger for short trips

The bench adds a seat, so a group of seven can travel in one vehicle instead of two. For airport transfers, a dinner across town or a wedding reception within the city, that is a practical arrangement.

The trade-off: three adults on the bench have less shoulder room than two on separate chairs, and third-row passengers wait for a seat to be moved before getting out. If seven adults will spend many hours on the road, consider a larger vehicle.

How the Carnival compares with other 7-seaters

If your itinerary includes rough roads, tell us and we will suggest a higher car.

        Four typical bookings

Airport pickup for a family of six

The 7-seat layout has exactly six passenger seats: grandparents in the middle chairs, three in the back, one in front. The driver tracks your flight and waits if it is late, with no waiting fee. Six people's luggage may exceed the space, so tell us how many cases.

        Business partners to Vung Tau

Reclining middle chairs let guests rest or read on the way. An English-speaking driver can be requested for overseas visitors.

Seven guests to a wedding in town

The 8-seat version keeps everyone together, and the short distance makes the bench comfortable. Returning late adds nothing: there is no night surcharge.

Staying comfortable on a long run

Quick checks when the car arrives

        1. Count the passenger seats and confirm the layout matches your booking.
        2. Show older passengers how the sliding door button works.
        3. Check the child seat is firmly installed in the right position.
        4. Load luggage before passengers board so heavy cases go in first.

What to tell us when booking

        1. 7-seat or 8-seat, or ask us to recommend one.
        2. Adults and children, with ages if you need child seats.
        3. Number of large cases, carry-ons and bulky items.
        4. Your itinerary, leg lengths and any overnight stays.

        Travelling with limited mobility

The Carnival is a sensible choice for passengers who use a walking frame or a folding wheelchair. The sliding door opens wide, the floor is low, and the middle chairs of the 7-seat version can slide back to leave room for getting in. A few points help:

A multi-day trip in a Carnival: how a day runs

Many families book the Carnival for a three or four-day loop, for example Ho Chi Minh City, Phan Thiet, Da Lat and back. A typical day looks like this:

        1. Morning: the driver checks the car and is waiting at the hotel at the agreed time. Luggage stays in the car if you move to the next town, or comes out if you stay put.
        2. Mid-morning: sightseeing stops. The sliding doors make short stops quick, and you can leave shopping in the car while you visit.
        3. Evening: arrival at the next hotel. The driver arranges their own room nearby, which is already in your quote.

Share your hotel names in advance so the driver can plan parking, especially in Da Lat where many small hotels are on steep, narrow streets.

        Corporate roadshows and event transfers

For companies, the Carnival works as a shuttle for speakers, partners or a small delegation over one or several days. Useful arrangements:

        Common misunderstandings

        Rainy season and night driving

From May to November, afternoon storms are common in the south. The Carnival's sliding doors help here: passengers step straight from a covered entrance into the car without opening a swinging door into the rain. Ask the driver to pull up under the hotel canopy and load bags from the rear while you board from the side. On late evening returns, rear passengers can adjust their own climate zone in humid weather. Because there is no night surcharge, you can plan a late dinner or an evening show without worrying about the clock, as long as total driving stays within the driver's daily limit.

        Compare the Carnival's usable layout

Seven- and eight-seat Carnivals differ in middle-row layout and access to the rear. Consider the passage after child restraints are installed, not just an empty-cabin diagram. Check luggage with all required seats in use. Record essential layout requirements so a replacement vehicle can be checked against them.

Is the eight-seat Carnival always better for a larger party?

An additional seat helps only if baggage and access still work. Check the actual layout for large cases or several child restraints. Seven- and eight-seat configurations include the driver, so chauffeured passenger capacity must account for that position. Compare two suitable options on comfort and total cost rather than the nominal capacity alone.
