Picking the wrong vehicle size for a group usually means one of two things: no room for the luggage, or paying for a row of empty seats.
For groups heading to Vung Tau or Long Thanh, the main choice is a 16-seater or a 29-seater. This guide explains how to choose by group size and luggage, adds route notes and lists what to confirm before booking group transport.

| 16-seater | About 10 to 15 guests with luggage |
| 29-seater | Larger tours and corporate groups |
| Route | Bien Hoa to Vung Tau expressway |
| Confirm | Waiting, overtime, rest stops |
A 16-seater suits groups of about ten to fifteen with luggage. A 29-seater suits larger tour or corporate groups. If you are between the two, count the bags: heavy luggage tips the choice to the larger vehicle.
The Bien Hoa to Vung Tau expressway has shortened travel between Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau. Long Thanh Airport transfers will grow as flights move there, so plan extra time when dates are close to the move.
Choose pickup points and times so the group boards quickly. For events, set a meeting point and a coordinator. Confirm rest stops on the route.
Count passengers and bags, ask for a group quote and agree waiting time and overtime. Keep the confirmation in writing. If the group is heading to Vung Tau, our Vung Tau car rental page explains one-way versus itinerary-based hire.
Tip from Car Rental Vietnam: When counting luggage, include pushchairs, golf bags or event boxes; they take up more room than ordinary suitcases.
A 29-seater for over eighteen guests; a 16-seater for smaller teams.
