What matters when booking golf-course transfers from Ho Chi Minh City? Two things ruin a round fastest: arriving late for tee time, and a boot that cannot fit the bags. Plan from three facts: number of players, number of golf bags, and tee time. This guide helps you choose a car, work backwards to departure time, and agree waiting versus return pickup—for individuals, friend groups and corporate golf days.

| Question | Suggestion |
|---|---|
| 1–2 golf bags | 4-seater sedan is usually enough |
| 3–4 bags, group of 3–4 | 7-seater with rear seats folded |
| 4 players with lots of luggage, or larger groups | 16-seater |
| Departure time | 60–90 minutes before tee time for courses 1–2 hours from the city |

Golf bags are long and rigid—count bags first, then people. A sedan boot usually takes one or two bags. A 7-seater with the rear row folded takes more, but seating drops when seats are folded. Four players with bags and small suitcases are most comfortable in a 16-seater. See luggage space on the 7-seater and 16-seater pages. Fleet 2022–2025; choose petrol or diesel when booking. Petrol for a quieter cabin; diesel for strong pull with full load and bags.
Use tee time as the anchor. Subtract warm-up, changing and check-in at the club. Subtract expected travel time, then add a traffic buffer—especially Saturday and Sunday mornings. The result is the driver’s pickup time. For courses one to two hours from the city, leaving 60–90 minutes before tee time is common; weekends, leave earlier.
Agree from the start whether the driver waits at the club for the whole round, or returns for a second pickup. Multi-hour waiting and two trips are priced differently—choose what fits the group. If waiting, ask whether the club has a driver rest area and leave a phone number so the car is ready when you finish. If the round may overrun, agree overtime rules in advance.
Send the guest list, each person’s pickup point and one main contact. Multiple cars should leave in a set order with one coordinator. Guests arriving by air: the driver tracks the flight; airport transfer waiting is not charged. See Tan Son Nhat airport transfer pages. Detailed contract signed by both sides; 8% VAT invoices available. For large multi-car groups, see passenger-shuttle and 16/29-seat group guides.
With-driver fares already include fuel and road tolls for the locked route. Current quotes include a 10% reduction. Live quote: /en/dat-xe. This article does not invent prices.
The driver helps load and unload at the car; caddie service is arranged by the club.
Agree overtime rules when booking so nothing unexpected appears later.
