Routes drivers use

Most trips use the Noi Bai to Nhat Tan expressway and cross the Nhat Tan bridge toward Tay Ho and the centre. A second option crosses Thang Long bridge. Your driver picks the faster one on the day, so you do not need to choose in advance.

Where to meet your driver at Noi Bai (updated October 2026)

From 7 am on 3 August 2026, Noi Bai International Airport introduced a new lane layout in front of T1 and T2. Cars may stop for up to 5 minutes and drivers must stay within 2 m of the vehicle. A pre-booked pickup works like this:

• Terminal 2 (international): the driver holds your name sign in the public arrivals hall on the ground floor. Licensed tourist contract cars stop in lane 4 between pillars 2 and 3; vehicles with 9 seats and above may not pick up in front of the terminal, so the driver walks you to the car park.
• Terminal 1 (domestic): after the airport's adjustment, service cars under 9 seats pick up in lane 3 in front of Hall E, under cover, with a 3-minute limit. The driver meets you at the arrivals exit and then calls the car in.
• Orange-shirted "Here to help" staff on the ground floor of both terminals can guide you if you cannot see your driver.

Groups in a 16-seater or larger should allow a few minutes to walk to the car park. Tell us your suitcase count when booking.
