A car with driver for year-end client gift visits lets a company cover its whole client list in a day or two, without booking a ride for each leg while carrying dozens of gift boxes. Since 2025, the enlarged Ho Chi Minh City also includes former Bình Dương and Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, so a gift round can stretch from Thủ Dầu Một to Vũng Tàu. This guide covers splitting routes, choosing a car by the number of gifts, avoiding the worst days, and preparing VAT invoice details at year-end.

Split routes by cluster, not by list order

Group clients by area: the old centre and Thủ Thiêm; the northern industrial belt such as Thủ Dầu Một and Bến Cát; the east such as Thủ Đức and Di An; and the Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu direction. Make each cluster its own half-day or day. Call ahead to set a time, as many offices close early or hold year-end meetings.

Choose the car by the number of gifts

Load gifts in drop-off order so you are not searching the boot at every stop.

        Avoid the worst days

In the final week before Tết, central roads and city gateways are busy all day, especially in the late afternoon. Start gift rounds from the middle of the last lunar month; if you must go in the final week, start early and do the furthest cluster in the morning. The Tết 2027 holiday starts on 4 February, so many firms wrap up by 3 February.

        Year-end VAT invoices

An 8% VAT invoice is available on request. When booking, send the company name, tax code, address and invoice email so the paperwork is right from the start and does not need correcting at year-end close. Companies with many trips can ask for invoices to be grouped by batch.

        Booking

Send the address list, number of gifts and dates through the quick-quote form. Every quote comes with 10% off; chauffeured prices include fuel and tolls.

        Planning a gift round

        Four weeks out

        Two weeks out

        On the day

Matching vehicles to the gift round

        Scale Suggested car Notes
One staff member, small boxes 4–5 seat Boot holds about 3 suitcases' worth; more fits on the back seat
Two or three people, large hampers 7 seat Fold the last row for hamper space
Executives visiting with gifts 9-seat limousine Roomy seats for working on the move
Large team or many cartons 16 seat Hold of roughly 6–8 suitcases

A big round can run two cars in parallel in two clusters instead of adding extra days.

Clustering stops in the enlarged Ho Chi Minh City

        Central cluster

Former Districts 1 and 3 and Thủ Thiêm are full of office towers; ask about parking in advance, as cars can usually stop only briefly at the lobby. Let the gift-giver step out while the driver circles.

        Northern cluster (former Bình Dương)

Factories in industrial parks have guarded gates and often need visitors registered. Send the car's plate and visitors' names to the client the day before.

        Eastern cluster and the coast

Former Thủ Đức, Di An and the Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu side are far apart; give them a separate day, start early and reach the furthest stop before lunch if clients take long breaks.

        Clients outside the city

For clients in Đồng Nai, Tây Ninh or Cần Thơ, book a same-day return trip with a driver; chauffeur prices already include fuel and tolls.

        Etiquette for year-end gifts

Executives arriving by air or rail

When a director flies in from Hanoi or another branch to join the visits, send the flight number: the driver tracks the landing, waits through delays with no airport waiting fee, and heads straight to the first client. If they arrive by sleeper train at Saigon station, send the train code and carriage so the driver waits at the exit. One traveller's bag usually fits a 4–5 seat boot with a few gifts; with many hampers, choose a 7-seater.

        Key dates around Tết 2027

        When What to do
Early January 2027 Finalise lists, order gifts, book cars; 16-seaters and 9-seat limousines go early
Mid-January 2027 Main gift round while roads are still manageable
Late January 2027 Remaining clients; travel early in the day
Before 3 February 2027 Finish; the Tết holiday starts on 4 February
After the 6th day of Tết New Year courtesy visits to key clients

Tết bookings need a deposit of about 10%; tell us early if you need two cars at once.

        New Year courtesy visits

After the holiday, many firms visit major clients to open the new year. These trips are shorter than the year-end round but usually include executives, so a 9-seat limousine or a recent 7-seater fits well. For clients in Cần Thơ, Tây Ninh or Vũng Tàu, combine the visit with lunch and return the same day.

        Records for accounts

Monthly hire for the busy season

Companies with many trips from year-end to after Tết can consider a monthly car with driver, giving a regular vehicle and a driver who knows the client list.

A route sheet for the driver

A clear route sheet lets the driver plan the roads and call ahead before each stop. Build it in a spreadsheet and send it over Zalo with these columns:

Order Client Address or map pin Time Recipient and phone Gifts
1 Company A Pin at the main gate 8:30 Head of admin 2 hampers
        2 Factory B Industrial-park guard gate 10:00 Purchasing manager 1 carton

Add a notes column for sites that need visitor registration, allow only a lobby stop or require basement parking. If plans change mid-day, update the sheet and message the driver, who reorders the remaining stops.

        Fragile gifts

Wine, ceramics and tiered cake boxes should sit on the floor or a well-padded seat, never under heavy cartons. Mention them so the driver drives smoothly and avoids hard braking in city traffic.
