About Vinh

Administrative changes to know
Since 1 July 2025 the former Vinh city area (with former Cua Lo town and parts of Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen) forms six wards: Truong Vinh, Thanh Vinh, Vinh Hung, Vinh Phu, Vinh Loc and Cua Lo.
The two-tier model (province, then commune or ward) applies from 1 July 2025, so old district names no longer appear on new documents. When booking for Vinh, old names, new names or a map pin all work.
