Administrative changes to know
Since 1 July 2025 the new Ca Mau combines former Ca Mau and Bac Lieu; the cape remains in Ca Mau, in former Ngoc Hien district.

From Ca Mau city the Ho Chi Minh road via Nam Can reaches the Cape in about 110 km. The last stretch is narrow but fine for 4-, 7- and 16-seaters. Restaurants at the Cape serve goby fish, shrimp and crab. Speedboats run to Khai Long mudflat beach or along mangroves advancing into the sea.
