For families of four to six, a 7-seater with driver gives room, comfort and a calm trip. It is the usual pick for Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Da Lat and Mekong Delta journeys. Here is how to choose the seating, plan luggage and check the quote.

Seven seats does not mean seven comfortable adults with bags. Most families settle at four to six passengers: two adults and children up front and in the middle row, with the third row used for bags or smaller children. Tell the driver the ages of children so car seats can be arranged if needed.
With the third row up, the boot space is small. For a three-day trip, one medium bag per person is realistic. If you carry strollers, coolers or beach gear, say so when booking so the driver can bring roof storage or suggest a larger van.
From Ho Chi Minh City, the usual runs are Vung Tau and Ho Tram for a weekend, Mui Ne for a beach stay, Da Lat for cooler weather and the Mekong Delta for a day of markets and orchards. Each has different road conditions, so allow rest stops every two hours with children.
Confirm driver hours, overnight allowance for multi-day trips, tolls, parking and fuel. For overnight trips, ask who pays the driver accommodation so there are no surprises on day two.
