An out-of-town wedding procession (rước dâu đi tỉnh) differs from a city procession in one key way: timing. When the bride's family lives in Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Can Tho or Dong Nai, the groom's party must work back from the ceremony time and add time to leave the city, travel the expressway and reach village roads. This guide covers scheduling, the bridal car and family vehicles, and what to tell us in advance.
| Role | Suggested vehicle | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bridal car | Sedan or premium car; Toyota Camry (with driver only) | Flowers must be fixed firmly for expressway speeds |
| Parents, grandparents | 7-seater or 9/12-seat limousine | Roomy seats for long trips |
| Relatives | 16, 29 or 45-seater | 16: 10–13; 29: 20–27; 45: 35–43 passengers |
