Chan May port lies between Hue and Da Nang, about 61-64 km from the Hue Imperial City and about 71-79 km from Hoi An's old town. Lang Co Bay is close by, only about 13 km. As both directions are long, we suggest choosing one for the day rather than trying to fit in Hue and Hoi An together.

Times are approximate, from free-flowing to busy traffic, and only a guide; traffic, weather and time of day can change them.

About 61-64 km to the Imperial City, usually 1-1.5 hours each way via Highway 1 or the expressway.
Hue is slightly closer (about 61-64 km) and suits Nguyen dynasty heritage; Hoi An is about 71-79 km and suits old-town strolling. We suggest choosing one direction for the day.
Lang Co Bay is about 13 km from the port, good for a short call or when the weather makes long drives unattractive.
Hue is known as the home of salt coffee; many central cafes serve it, an easy stop after the Imperial City.
