About My Son Sanctuary

A heritage of Cham temples
My Son was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1999. Champa dynasties built temples here over many centuries, mostly dedicated to Shiva. Many towers were damaged in the war; the surviving groups have been restored, and artefacts are on display in the exhibition hall near the gate.

A popular plan: My Son in the morning, mi Quang for lunch in Duy Xuyen, Hoi An in the afternoon. If you like craft villages, stop at Thanh Ha pottery village or Tra Que vegetable village on the way back.
