About Da Nang Airport

Da Nang International Airport (code DAD) is close to the city centre, only about 3 km from the Dragon Bridge. From here travellers go to Hoi An, Ba Na, Hue or stay along My Khe beach. Terminal T1 handles domestic flights and T2 international flights; the driver meets you in the arrivals hall of your terminal.
Administrative changes to know
Since 1 July 2025 the new Da Nang City combines former Da Nang and Quang Nam province. Hoi An, Tam Ky and My Son are now in Da Nang; the airport–Hoi An trip is still about 30 km.
Since 1 July 2025 local government has two tiers: province or city, and commune or ward. Districts no longer exist, but old names are still used every day. When booking in Da Nang Airport, write your address the way you know it or send a map pin; drivers understand both old and new names.
Pick-up areas and choosing a vehicle
Because the airport is central, My Khe beach hotels are about 15 minutes away. Hoi An via the coastal road takes 40–45 minutes. Hue via the Hai Van tunnel takes about 2.5 hours; to stop at Hai Van Pass or Lang Co, tell us in advance.
Ba Na Hills and Marble Mountains
Ba Na is about 25 km away; go early to avoid queues at the cable car. The Marble Mountains are on the way to Hoi An and take 1–2 hours.
Getting in and out of Da Nang Airport
Da Nang Airport has domestic T1 and international T2 side by side, a few minutes' walk apart. It sits within the city, about 5 km from My Khe beach and 3 km from Dragon Bridge. Hoi An runs along the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road; Hue goes through the Hai Van tunnel. Tell the driver your terminal so he meets you at the right exit.
