Hiring a car for grandparents and older relatives at Tet: how do you pick one that is comfortable and safe? For older passengers, whether a trip is enjoyable or exhausting depends a lot on the car: how easy it is to get in and out, how roomy the seats are and whether the route allows rest stops. Here are the criteria, vehicle suggestions and how to plan a gentle Tet outing.
| Who is travelling | Suggested vehicle | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Grandparents plus 2–3 relatives | 7-seater | Most comfortable with 4–5 passengers and about 4 suitcases |
| Want wide seats and sliding doors | A large MPV such as the Kia Carnival | Ask early about availability at Tet |
| Extended, multi-generation family | Limousine or 16-seater | Everyone in one vehicle, easier to look after each other |
A chauffeured car picks up at the door, drops you close to each entrance and waits while the family sightsees and eats. The price includes fuel and tolls for the quoted route. You can ask the driver to go slowly and stop more often if grandparents get tired. See 7-seater with driver for families.
Our fleet is 2022–2025 models, and child seats are available on request if grandchildren come along. Book early for Tet: prices are usually higher than normal, cars fill fast and the deposit is usually about 10%. Every quote gets 10% off.

Bring a small cushion, a blanket, water, medicine and any walking aid. Ask the driver to stop every one to two hours for a stretch and the toilet.
