Factory visits often require a fixed arrival slot and vehicle registration. For business trips to the Binh Duong and Dong Nai areas, the visitor entrance and host contact are more useful than the industrial park name alone.

Distinguish visitor access from goods delivery

For product samples, notify both the host and operator of package dimensions and entry requirements. A passenger car may not be admitted to the delivery area. Leave time between factories for registration, security checks and lunch.

Why business teams choose a 7-seater

Common industrial areas and journey times

Area Example parks From central HCMC (guide only)
Thuan An, Thu Dau Mot, Ben Cat (Binh Duong) VSIP I, VSIP II, My Phuoc About 45–90 minutes
Bien Hoa (Dong Nai) Amata, Bien Hoa II, Loteco About 45–75 minutes
Nhon Trach, Long Thanh (Dong Nai) Nhon Trach and Long Thanh parks About 60–90 minutes
Bau Bang, Tan Uyen (Binh Duong) Bau Bang, Nam Tan Uyen About 75–120 minutes

Times vary a great deal with the hour of day. Send the exact plant address and we will calculate the pickup time.

        Before the day

Registering the car and driver at the gate

Many factories require the plate number and driver's name in advance, sometimes their ID number too. As soon as the booking is confirmed we send these details for you to pass to the plant's security or reception. If outside vehicles are not allowed inside, the driver drops and collects you at the gate and waits in the designated area.

        Shift changes

From experience, access roads into the parks become extremely busy at the morning shift start and the afternoon finish, when thousands of motorbikes move at once. Tell us your meeting time so the driver can leave early enough to beat the peak, or wait until it eases.

        Guest list

Send each guest's name, nationality for overseas visitors, and a contact number. Some plants need this to prepare visitor passes.

        Site safety rules

This is the part teams often forget. Many factories require visitors on the production floor to wear closed-toe shoes and long trousers, and some issue hard hats, glasses, ear plugs or high-visibility vests. Food and electronics plants may ban jewellery and photography. Ask the plant in advance so your team comes prepared; spare shoes and jackets can stay in the car while you work. Overseas visitors often fly in wearing sandals or dress shoes, and a reminder avoids waiting around to borrow safety boots.

        During the working day

        Looking after overseas visitors

English-speaking drivers are available. For specialists flying into Tan Son Nhat and going straight to the plant, the driver tracks the flight and waits if it is delayed, with no waiting fee. Send the guest's name, flight number and phone number so the driver meets the right person. For guests staying at hotels in Binh Duong, Bien Hoa or central HCMC, the driver collects from the lobby at the agreed time each morning.

        Carrying samples and test equipment

Compact samples, a few small boxes and handheld test kit fit behind the seats of a 7-seater with part of row three folded. The driver helps load, and there is no luggage surcharge. For bulky, heavy or numerous boxes, take a 16-seater or add a pickup truck for the cargo.

        Team Carrying Suggested vehicle
2–3 people Documents, laptops 4-seat sedan
4–6 people Documents, compact samples 7-seater
4–6 people Many sample boxes 7-seater plus pickup, or a 16-seater
7–12 people Documents 16-seater or limousine van

        Sample day: two factories

        Time Activity
        6:45 Pickup at a District 1 hotel
8:15 Arrive at plant A in VSIP, visitor badges
8:30–11:30 Meeting and plant tour; driver waits in the visitor car park
        12:00 Lunch near the park
13:30–16:00 Plant B in Bien Hoa
16:00 Leave before the main shift finish, or wait until it clears

When the team needs to split

Sometimes one group stays for acceptance testing while another must leave early for a flight. There are two ways to handle it:

        1. Add a 4-seater for the early group, while the 7-seater stays with the team still working.
        2. The 7-seater runs the early group back and returns, if distance and timing allow within the driver's legal hours.

Mention a possible split when booking so we can plan for it from the start.

Rainy season on the park access roads

From May to November, afternoon storms in Binh Duong and Bien Hoa can cause local flooding on some park access roads and at the city gateways. If your session ends after 3 pm, allow an extra 30 to 60 minutes for the return, especially with an evening flight. The driver watches road conditions and picks an alternative route if needed.

What the group leader should confirm

        First impressions for visiting partners

For a customer audit or a new supplier visit, the car is part of how your company presents itself. Small details make a difference:

Airport to factory and back in one day

Many specialists fly in for a single-day visit. A realistic plan from Tan Son Nhat looks like this:

        1. Morning arrival: allow 45–60 minutes from landing to leaving the terminal for immigration and baggage on an international flight.
        2. Drive to the plant: 60–90 minutes depending on the park and traffic.
        3. On-site: four to five hours including lunch.
        4. Return to the airport: leave the plant at least three hours before an international departure, more in the rainy season or on Friday evenings.

The driver holds the guest's luggage in the car all day, so there is no need for a hotel stop.

        Regular transport for expatriate staff

Companies with expatriate managers or rotating technicians often need the same commute every working day between a city apartment and the plant. A standing arrangement with a regular driver means the route, gate procedures and pickup points are known, and guests do not have to explain anything each morning. Send the weekly pattern, the number of people and any days off, and we will propose a schedule. Changes for public holidays or late meetings can be handled by message.

        Common mistakes to avoid

        Keeping the day on schedule

Factory days slip for predictable reasons: a badge that takes longer to issue, a tour that runs over, a lunch that turns into a second meeting. Build in fifteen-minute buffers between plants rather than packing appointments back to back, and nominate one person in the group to keep in touch with the driver. If the afternoon session will clearly run late, tell the driver early. That leaves time to reroute around shift-change traffic and to warn the hotel or the airport team.

        Send a request

Send the plant addresses, meeting times and number of guests via the quick quote form, or call or message on Zalo/WhatsApp at +84 967 914 574.

        Allow for factory visitor registration

Two factory visits can involve registration, visitor passes and waiting for a host. Provide visitor gates, appointment times and advance registration requirements, particularly for overseas guests or samples. Agree legal waiting space if the car cannot enter. Leave a workable interval before the next appointment.

Plan your car trip to Thu Dau Mot

Thu Dau Mot can serve as an area reference for a business trip, but a factory quote needs the exact address and visitor gate. For several appointments in the Binh Duong area, send each company name, appointment time, host contact and visit order. Check any vehicle registration, identification and gate procedures with your hosts in advance. If carrying product samples, give their dimensions and quantity so we can select a suitable car; seat count alone does not describe luggage capacity. Agree on driver waiting time and how schedule changes or additional stops will be priced.
