A family gathering requires room for gifts and ceremonial items as well as passengers. We ask about meeting points, household headcounts and turning space for the minibus before drawing up the pickup plan.

Work backwards from the gathering time, allowing for pickups, loading and breaks. Seal food separately from personal luggage. If the house is down a narrow lane, agree an accessible drop-off and someone to assist older relatives.
| People | Carrying | Suggestion |
|---|---|---|
| 12–15 | Little luggage | One 16-seater, just enough |
| Over 15 | Anything | A 29-seater or two vehicles |
The 16 seats include the driver's, so up to 15 passengers. With gifts and food on board, 10–13 people is the number at which everyone sits comfortably.
Extended families rarely live in one place: an uncle in Go Vap, an aunt in Thu Duc, cousins in Binh Tan. To collect everyone efficiently in the morning:
With four or five pickups, allow about an hour more than a direct departure.
A 16-seater is about 6 m long and struggles in tight lanes. The driver waits at the lane entrance or the nearby main road and helps carry things to the van. Send a map pin for the lane entrance so the driver goes straight there.
For a reunion, it often helps to pick one or two gathering points instead of a doorstep pickup for every household. A petrol station, a supermarket car park or a relative's house on a wide street gives the van somewhere legal to stop, and families can be dropped there by motorbike or taxi. This cuts the number of stops and keeps the morning on schedule.
The driver helps carry things on and off at each home and in the village, with no luggage surcharge. Mention bulky items in advance so space is kept.
The driver waits somewhere convenient that does not block the neighbours' lane. The driver's meals are included in the price; if the family invites the driver to share the feast, mention it to us and that portion is deducted.
| Time | Activity |
|---|---|
| 5:00 | First pickup in Go Vap |
| 5:30–6:30 | Three more homes in Tan Binh, District 8 and Binh Chanh |
| 7:15 | Breakfast and rest stop on the expressway |
| 8:30 | Arrive at the family home and set out the offerings |
| 9:00–14:00 | Ceremony, feast and visits to relatives; the driver rests |
| 14:30 | Head back, stopping for local specialities |
Actual times depend on distance and the number of pickups. Send the addresses and we will work out the real schedule.
Feasts run long, or the family decides to stay and visit more relatives. Tell us early and we will rearrange. The driver's accommodation is already included, so there is no need to find the driver a bed. Next day, the driver collects everyone at the agreed time.
Roads into villages are often narrow, with small bridges and dirt sections. Describe the last stretch to your home: its width, any low-load bridges, whether there is space to turn. If the van cannot reach the house, the driver parks at a wide spot close by and helps carry things in. Give the driver the number of someone in the village to call for directions.
Families often add a visit to the cemetery, the ancestral hall or relatives in the next commune. List the extra stops when you book so the driver can plan the route. Village cemeteries are often in the middle of rice fields with tiny access paths; the van parks on the road and the family walks the last part. Bring sandals, hats and water for the walk in the sun.
Clan gatherings often coincide with relatives visiting from abroad. If someone is landing that day, the van can collect them straight from the airport and head to the village; the driver tracks the flight and waits if it is late, with no waiting fee. Their large suitcases take up a lot of space, so tell us the count; an extra small car may be needed. An English-speaking driver can be arranged for family members who do not speak Vietnamese. Children raised abroad may not be used to long journeys in the heat, so bring water and seat them near an air vent.
For many families, the ride itself becomes a highlight of the day: aunts and uncles catch up, grandchildren sit beside grandparents they rarely see, old stories come out. To keep it pleasant and safe, keep the aisle clear, stay seated while the van is moving, keep snacks in sealed boxes and remind each other to buckle up after every stop. If someone wants to share photos or play music, keep the volume at a level that does not distract the driver. On the way home, many people sleep; dim the conversation and let the driver concentrate on the evening traffic.
Not every family trip is planned weeks ahead. When a relative passes away, the family often needs to travel the same day or the next morning. Call +84 967 914 574 directly rather than waiting for an online reply, and tell us the number of people, the village address and when you need to leave. We will check which vans are free. Bring white headbands or mourning clothes in a separate bag so they are easy to find on arrival, and let the driver know if the family will need transport between the house, the pagoda and the cemetery over several days.
Between August and November, high tides and heavy rain can flood low roads in parts of the Delta. Ask relatives in the village about water levels the day before, and allow extra time. The driver will not take the van through water where the road surface cannot be seen; in that case the family may need to walk or take a local boat for the final stretch, so pack valuables in waterproof bags.
Send the pickup list, the village address and the date via the quick quote form, or call or message on Zalo/WhatsApp at +84 967 914 574.
Some relatives return the same day while others stay or join the return. Confirm each leg's headcount and one family coordinator. Declare sealed food, gifts and ceremonial items. Include rural access, turning space and help for older relatives so the gathering is not delayed by transport arrangements.
Passengers each way, ceremony time, house access and ceremonial items.
