For a large dog, measure the chosen carrier before choosing the car. Check the tailgate opening, carrier space, remaining passenger seats and ventilation together; the label 'seven-seater' does not answer those questions.
Send outside carrier dimensions, passenger numbers and bag sizes. Confirm suitable securing points rather than tying to an unverified seat fitting. Recalculate passenger capacity when seats fold. Discuss access aids in advance if the dog cannot comfortably negotiate a high load floor.
Send the carrier’s external measurements, the dog’s weight and a photo of it assembled. Check the loading opening, interior height and remaining passenger seats. A seven-seat vehicle name alone does not establish a suitable fit.
Use a carrier or vehicle restraint as its maker instructs, with adequate ventilation. Do not improvise attachments to seat legs, let the dog stand loose or carry it in a pickup bed. Upholstery protection is not a substitute for a restraint.
For a dog with limited mobility, ask the vet about assistance and a suitable ramp if needed. Attach the lead before opening doors; lifting should be done by someone able to do it safely. Agree safe breaks and confirm pet acceptance at the destination.
Measure the assembled carrier and account for every passenger. If it occupies rear storage, confirm a separate secured position for luggage. Photos of the loading opening and planned carrier space are more useful than a vehicle category alone. Agree who handles boarding, especially with a heavy or unfamiliar dog.
Assembled carrier, passengers, cases, boarding ability and responsible carer.

On the day, bring a non-slip mat or blanket for the cargo floor, a water bowl, towels, waste bags and a spare lead. A short walk before pickup helps most dogs settle once the car is moving.
Plan a stop roughly every two hours on longer routes, in a place where the dog can be walked away from traffic. Never leave the dog alone in a parked car in the heat, even with the windows partly open.
Send the carrier size and the dog weight when you ask for a quote, and read preparing your pet for a long car ride and pet transport to the vet for related tips.
Can the dog ride on a seat? Only with a suitable harness or secured carrier agreed in advance.
Is cleaning included? Ask when booking; heavy hair or soiling may carry a cleaning charge.
